IN THE PRESS

David Beach did an excellent job of documenting how one of Kansas' railroad towns progressed from its founding through rapid growth, to notoriety and to rapid collapse.

R. Brogan, AMAZON REVIEW

The author has done [...] a fine job of weaving this information into a tale that will be of interest to anyone wanting to learn more of the first European settlers in Neosho and Labette counties.

Ed in Kingston, AMAZON REVIEW

Very enjoyable book of local history. I even took a short trip to see where Ladore once stood. Midwest history students would discover prairie town life.
